FARM WORK

Have people ever thought why hard jobs are so important to the world? A lot of people think that all hard jobs are not important, but let me tell you, farming is one of the most important jobs in the world you could have. The reason why farming is so important to the world, is food. Without food, we would not be alive. Or if people want to say that they don’t eat grown crops, just animals, those people need to realize the animals they eat were fed crops grown by farmers.
There are so many steps in growing high-quality crops. With high-quality means more money and a top buyer. One thing that is important to the farmer is a buyer that you know will always be behind you in your business life. Because just like in other jobs, you need a buyer and a seller. That’s why nowadays they have a piece of paper called a contract, just to secure their deal, that the farmer and the buyer made, so there are no changes in price, nor can anyone back out of the deal.
With that said, the things that it takes to be a great farmer, and a farmer that knows how to grow an over-the-top crop that every buyer wants to get in the palm of their hands, the things that you need to run a great farm, first of all, you need to have a lot of equipment. The equipment that you need are tractors. Those would probably be the most important piece of equipment that you would need to have.

You would also need to have a leveler, a Melcher, a plow, disk, planter, ripper, S-tine, sprayer, and a harvester. These are all sorts of equipment that is important for each field work that is needed to prepare the ground. There are other equipment that is sometimes needed too, but that would take a long time to name them all.
The other part of farming that is key to having a good farm are workers. Without them, you would get nothing done. The next step to having a successful farm is quality seed or plants, whatever the farmer is trying to grow. And then you have to seek out the best buyer of your crop. With all these important steps in trying to run a great farm, I’ll explain all the steps in growing a crop from start to finish to show you the exact point and hard work it takes in growing the greatest crop at all times.
First, when you start out, you need to prepare the field to get all the clumps and uneven spots out of the field so that the crop will grow evenly. The equipment you need to do this is a mulcher and a leveler. These two pieces of equipment are the main keys in having a nice, smooth, level ground. If you did not have these two pieces of equipment, your crop would not grow as nice, because when you irrigate, the crop wouldn’t get watered evenly, and you wouldn’t have a crop that a top buyer would want, and you would have to sell your crop for a lesser price. The other equipment that is important would have to be your tractors. That’s a piece that goes together with the rest of the equipment, like the cultivator and your planter has to be pulled by a tractor.
The next thing to have on a really good farm are water rights. With the water right that you have, you will be able to irrigate your crops so they will grow. What water right means, is you have a share of water that you have already bought, and you know that you would automatically have that water when you needed it. They do that, because of the drought that we were in, you will always have water to water your crops if you have water rights. Farmers that don’t have water rights have to depend on Mother Nature to bring down the rains, and when you’re in a drought, that doesn’t always happen, and then your crops die because of lack of water.
With this said, you also need to spray your crops to keep bugs and weeds out so your crop will grow. If you don’t spray your crops, the bugs will eat the plants away until they are gone or die, and if you don’t spray for weeds, the weeds will choke the plant out until it dies, leaving you no crop. In this case, you water and wait for it to grow.
When the time comes that your crop is full grown, you start to harvest it, and you contact your buyer to let them know you will be bringing the crop to them so they can keep their production going. And you sell your crop to the buyer so you can keep your farm going by buying seed and equipment for the next season.
In the end, all the facts that I just told you are located on www.farmingtoday.com. So all in all, farm work is tough, and if people don’t know why people choose really tough jobs, I hope that I have given you enough facts to make you think twice, when a tough job comes along, not to always say no to them.
So I leave you with this saying, “Life is tough, but don’t ever let toughness bring you to a stall, and keep moving forward to bring food for us all.” So that is how to be a farmer and what it’s all about.
